What is Falafel?

Falafel is a very popular food that originated in the countries of the Middle East. This delicious food can now be found all over the world.

Falafel is made from chickpeas (garbanzos) mashed with parsley and spices, which is then shaped into balls and deep-fried. The balls are placed inside pita bread with lettuce and sliced vegetables, and topped with tahini sesame sauce and tomato-chili sauce. Our falafel ingredients are healthy, low-calorie and 100% vegetarian. We are confident our delicate and delicious falafel will satisfy the appetite of even those customers who are used to eating meat.

Also known as garbanzo beans. This bean has a shape similar to that of a baby chick,
and is an excellent source of protein, vitamin B1 and vegetable fiber.

Pita is a flat, round bread also known as pocket bread.
The bread is cut open to form a pocket to hold the ingredients.
ごまソース(タヒニソース)
An essential topping of falafel, the sesame sauce called tahini. Sesame seeds are roasted in a special manner to assure that the flavor and aroma are close to the original taste found in Israel.

Humus is a chickpea-based paste. The beans are boiled and then mashed with tahini and various spices. This light, flavorful preparation is ideal in pita or with salads.
